ext drive space warning?
#1
Does HBS advise/warn when there may not be enough ext drive space for a backup?

In fact, the program cannot accurately determine the amount of disk space needed to perform a backup, so currently it only reports an error when there is insufficient disk space.

Does the "error" point to insufficient disk space?
Or, the "error" is simply a generic "error" message?

Yes, HBS will prompt that the disk space is insufficient.

To resolve this you should free up space by transferring some files to another location or utilize cloud storage. Alternatively you can upgrade the Drive by purchasing a larger external drive.
