It is clearly unclear 
from your documentation what it means when doing an IMAGING operation AND you have checked (by DEFAULT) the options "Exclude system files/folders" and "Exclude hidden files/folders." Clearly those functions cannot be happening when doing a System image as the restoration of those images would fail miserably.
Can you explain what these options actually mean when doing images, and if nothing, are they only "active" when doing a File'n'Folder type of backup. Maybe an update to the on-line documentation, or at least my understanding of such, would help a bit
